Aqua Mania Adventures – St. Maarten

Escape the crowds at the less-known locations of St. Maarten, such as the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand – Anguilla, and her unparalleled sister – Prickly Pear Cay on an exciting boat adventure with Aqua Mania Adventures.

We had the pleasure of going on 2 different boat adventures with Aqua Mania Adventures and we loved it!

St. Barts

One word, FAB-U-LOUS! Just nine square miles and home to pristine beaches, luxury yachts, designer boutiques, and a handful of A-List celebrities. White sandy beaches are within walking distance, or take an island tour with a taxi and spend the day at St Jean Beach…home to the famous “Nikki Beach” Restaurant.

We checked in at 8 am for a 9 am departure out of the Simpson Bay Resort Marina. The boat ride to St. Barts was a little bumpy but it was all worth it once we arrived! As we were pulling up to the dock all you could see were a plethora of huge gorgeous yachts that belong to the celebrities that owned properties on the island. Some of these yachts were bigger then my apartment, I mean WOW!

The rest of the island was amazing! It’s not a super big island, so you can probably get around the full island in a few hours. We did not experience the full island but we did check out a few stunning locations. Take a look below!

After a great day of exploring the island and a delicious french lunch, we headed back to the dock for departure. Departure from the dock to head back to St. Maarten was at 4 pm. We arrived back in Sint Maarten at 4:45 pm.

Anguilla

Any trip to St Maarten would not be complete without a day trip to the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand – “Aguilla”, and her unparalleled sister – “Prickly Pear Cay”. We sailed on the Lambada… and spent the full day relaxing, partying, swimming and snorkeling. Open bar all day and great snacks onboard!

Our team had a such a BLAST from with the crew and the others that were on the tour. The Lambada is a great choice for families with children, couples and party groups. Lunches are a choice of BBQ chicken, fish or ribs with salads and rice and peas. There is a dinghy that transports people to the beach if you do not swim or prefer to be transported with your bag. It is advised that you bring extra cash along for additional drinks at the restaurant.

Boating is one of the most enjoyable things to do while in St. Maarteen if you have the right food, drinks, and other essentials, your day will be unforgettable! Besides your provisions for hunger and thirst, other important things to pack are sunscreen and lip balm. Bring plenty so you can reapply throughout the day because swimming and toweling off take off your UV protection, and you need to put it back on frequently when you are on the boat.

A little preparation goes a long way, so think it through and make a list. It will make your day on the water that much more enjoyable for you and the rest of the crew. So SET SAIL with Aqua Mania Adventures and RELAX on the deck while your expert skipper handles the navigation!
