Fishtown Brew Pub – Fantastic Food & Fun!

To wrap up our fantastic trip to Philly, we decided to have one last dinner, and thank you to Fishtown Brewpub for hosting us. They open at 11 am and close as late as 2 am. They are located right across the street from The Filmore – Philly so after you enjoy a show you can grab a few drinks and appetizers.

We started off with drinks, a signature drink called the Blue Bulleit: Bulleit Bourbon, blueberry-agave syrup, and fresh lemons.

Since they are a brewpub, we felt it was only right to try a few beers, so we tried the Pilsadelphia, the Blueberry Yum-Yum, and the Beatrice Marie. Take a look at their brewed beers menu to read about each beer we had and to also see the other beers they brew in-house.

With all of that beer we were tasting, we had to have something in our stomachs to balance everything out, so it was time to try a few things off of the food menu. We let our fantastic server Hannah choose a few customer favs for us with the help of the super welcoming manager Page.

To start, we had the Summer Salad that consisted of grilled peaches, charred corn, ricotta, snap peas and adobo vinaigrette. A very exciting combination!

The Lobster Roll- Saison steamed claw and knuckle, smoked tomato aioli, celery heart, pickled red onion, on a top split bun and served with our choice of 1 side, which we choose the very popular hand cut fries.

The Fishtown Tacos- Saison battered cod, avocado mash, house slaw, and chipotle crema on blue corn tortillas.

The last dish we had and one of our favorites was the Roasted Beet Burger. It’s made of red quinoa, roasted beets and chia seeds. On the burger was house pickles, sunflower “feta,” a vegan turmeric ailoi, on an everything Philly muffin. This burger really could pass as meat. You get to enjoy the great taste of a burger without the guilt.

Eating at Fishtown Brewpub was the best way to end our Philadelphia adventure. The environment was fun, great music was playing, and everyone was having a great time, so we joined right in to end our trip with a bang. If you’re looking for a fun place to go to eat some great food and have some great drinks, this is the place to go to.

Thank you again for a fantastic experience!
